THE SWEET STREET'S STORY!

Hello! Thank you for visiting The Sweet Street! My name is Sadaf Ali and I am a certified event planner specializing in custom desserts and dessert table displays for all types of events! I was born in Chicago, Illinois, but I spent a majority of my life in Atlanta, Georgia. I moved to Houston, Texas not long ago since I married the love of my life! Now, we are both back for new adventures in Atlanta! 
My love for planning started a long, long time ago. I was always the girl that took the initiative to plan all sorts of events for close family and friends because I enjoyed it so much! My college degree is in Early Childhood Development and I knew at some point in my life I would want to become a certified event planner! I spent around 5 years co-planning with an established event planner that had already built up her own business. I am so grateful for that opportunity because it gave me the confidence to start up my own business in Houston!
After a lot of brainstorming, The Sweet Street was finally established in August 2017! After spending so many years planning larger events, I knew that my heart was set on baking desserts and designing dessert tables! I knew it would require a lot of work since I would be building relationships with new clientele in a new city, but I believed in myself and my talent. I couldn’t have taken this leap of faith without my supportive husband and my immediate family!
